CLASSES FOR ANY LEVEL

Beginner's Yoga

This is a yoga class for those newer to yoga or those wanting a basic flow class. This class will introduce foundational yoga postures, teach you how to breath, and help you feel more comfortable in your yoga practice. Although this class moves at a slower pace than our other vinyasa classes, you can expect to be challenged both mentally and physically. This class is non-heated (temperature between 65 and 75 degrees).

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is the deep stretching and lengthening of the body’s fascia. Fascia is the connective tissues linking bones, muscles and joints. Often times pain seems muscular but it is really hiding out in the fascia of the body. Unlike Yang Yoga (regular Vinyasa class for strengthening), postures are held for a period of time to find opening and release. This is a quieter class with an emphasis on turning inward, soft music will be played in a warm room. Poses are generally exclusively done while laying on your yoga mat. This class is excellent for relieving aches and pains, finding relaxation and balancing your busy life. Room is lightly heated to around 80 degrees.

Yinyasa

A practice designed to lengthen and strengthen the body by combining vinyasa and yin style practices.  Get the best of both worlds (yin and yang). This class will be comprised of simple flows allowing us to loosen up an area before moving into a deeper held yin posture for 2-5 minutes. Leave feeling rejuvenated and fresh.

Foundations

The topic of class will range from a breakdown of classic poses, breath, and yoga philosophy. The purpose is to bring awareness to your mind and body, and to be curious. Expect a class that is gentle, with an easy flow. Build a practice confidently. All levels welcome.

Hatha/Hatha Flow

Hatha yoga is a path toward creating balance and uniting opposites. In this class we will work to develop a balance of strength and flexibility as we learn to find equilibrium in our effort and surrender in each pose. Focus will be placed on Iyengar alignment and the use of props will be utilized. This class is non-heated (temperature between 65 and 75 degrees).

All Levels Vinyasa

Vinyasa means "breath-synchronized movement," and Vinyasa yoga is a series of poses that will move you through the power of inhaling and exhaling. Vinyasa movements are smoothly flowing and almost dance-like, which explains why it is sometimes referred to as Vinyasa Flow or just Flow. This class emphasizes core strength. You will not only clear your mind, you will sweat and burn calories. This class is set to music and room temperature is 80-90 degrees.

Yoga Core

This class will comprise of cardio, vinyasa, and core engaging movements. This class will be a calorie torcher!

Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga is a revitalizing, relaxing, and meditative yoga practice. Restorative poses help relieve the effects of chronic stress brought on by our modern, fast paced lives. This practice is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching. Rather than actively positioning yourself, you will learn how to "receive" the pose with the support of props, allowing your mind to slow down and meditate on the breath.
During this class, your body is fully supported in poses for 5 to 10 minutes. This class is non-heated.

Sunrise Yoga

A practice of mindful breathwork, slow movements, and long held stretches and asanas. This practice is designed to allow you to move mindfully in order to recalibrate your physical and mental compasses.

Yoga Sculpt

This FUN class includes segments of cardio, strength training, and yoga. No prior yoga experience is necessary, however it is helpful. A rigorous workout set to energetic music in a heated room (80-85 degrees). You will sweat. You will burn calories. You will turn that frown upside down! This class is detoxifying, stress-relieving and FUN...it's like a sweaty party on your mat!

Barre Workout

This class combines Pilates, yoga and ballet movements, along with bursts of cardio, using a ballet barre for support and resistance. This combination of movements provides a high-energy, full-body workout. Barre class typically starts with stretching and a warm-up on a yoga mat to get the heart rate up, then moves into Pilates, yoga and ballet movements to sculpt and tone every muscle in the body. Barre movements are a series of tiny isometric movements that cause the muscles to shake to the point of exhaustion. Close attention will be paid to posture and alignment, which encourages a long and lean body. The class is set to high energy music in 80-85 degree temperature.
